Nationally recognized Catholic speaker, author and radio personality Brooke Taylor will lead women of the diocese on a journey through the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary, during the fourth annual Women’s Ministry Spring Pilgrimage on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

It will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church, 176 Marian Drive, off Highway 5 in Laurie.

It will include prayer, inspiration, reflection, fellowship and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

The theme will be “Crowned with Joy.” Participants from throughout the diocese will be drawn into a deeper appreciation for resurrection, joy, renewed hope and promised glory.

Bishop Ralph B. O’Donnell will begin the day by leading and reflecting on the First Glorious Mystery: Jesus’s Resurrection.

Mrs. Taylor and other presenters will reflect on the other four Glorious Mysteries: Jesus’s Ascension into Heaven, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption of the Blessed Mother into Heaven, and the Crowning of Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth.

As a sought-after Catholic speaker, author of Choose Joy and host of the “Good Things Radio” podcast, Mrs. Taylor (brooketaylor.us) inspires audiences on topics close to her heart, such as faith, adoption, parenting special-needs children, community, joy and the power of one voice.

Previous Women’s Spring Pilgrimages focused on the Sorrowful, Joyful and Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. This year’s focus on the Glorious Mysteries will dovetail into the Church’s 50-day celebration of Easter.

“What perfect timing during this season to explore our role as Easter people!” said Barb Prasad, diocesan Women’s Ministry coordinator. “And there is no better place than the National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church, who walks this journey with us.”

Mrs. Taylor is the founder Saint Gabriel Media and creator of the Arise retreat, bringing women together from across the country to find joy in their shared journey of faith.

Her 20-year media career includes serving as co-host of the “Family Friendly Morning Show” on a Cleveland radio station, where she interviewed notable religious and political figures such as former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the Rev. Franklin Graham, Michael W. Smith, Dr. James Dobson, Beth Moore and many more.

She hosts the Ms. Wheelchair USA competition and has been a guest on popular syndicated radio programs.

She loves serving as an ambassador for Food for the Poor in Haiti and Guatemala, where she helps to raise money and awareness for the poorest of the poor.

She is also the author of Choose Hope: A 52-Week Devotional Journey.

Mrs. Taylor and her husband, Jim, live in Canton, Ohio. They have four sons and a daughter with special needs, whom they adopted from Poland.

“Brooke Taylor is an energetic, upbeat and faith-filled woman. She brings these great positives to every group she addresses,” said Dr. Ray Guarendi, clinical psychologist, author, public speaker and nationally syndicated radio host.

“Simply stated, Brooke Taylor is captivating!” said Jennifer Willits, president of New Evangelizers. “She has a natural gift for speaking right to your soul as she inspires you to live your life more for God.”

Lisa M. Hendey, founder of Catholic Mom and author of The Grace of Yes, called Mrs. Taylor “a bright light and a gifted woman of God.”

“You will leave refreshed and energized and ready to polish off your crown and get busy in spreading the Good News!” said Mrs. Prasad.

The $15 cost per person includes lunch.

The doors will open at 9 a.m.
