Eight young adults spent 11 days forging spiritual bonds between the Jefferson City diocese and the Archdiocese of Kampala, Uganda. Led by Father Joseph Luzindana, a priest of the Kampala archdiocese, the group from Missouri spent Holy Week and Easter in the archdiocese from which Fr. Luzindana and three additional priests are serving on mission in the Jefferson City diocese. They prayed the Stations of the Cross on mountain with about 60,000 people, made a pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Ugandan Martyrs, toured a school where classrooms were recently built with a grant from the diocesan Missions Office, were greeted by the archbishop of Kampala, and spent time in prayer and fellowship with countless Ugandan Catholics.
