Bishop W. Shawn McKnight joins Father William Peckman — pastor of St. Mary Parish in Shelbina, Immaculate Conception Parish in Macon and the Mission of the Sacred Heart in Bevier — at Mass in newly renovated St. Mary Church, which was dedicated 100 years ago. A meal and reception, including historical displays for the Shelbina parish as well as St. Patrick Chapel in Clarence, the former Mission of St. Rose of Lima in Lakenan and the former Mission of St. Michael in Hagers Grove, was held in the parish’s Fr.
