Men’s Cursillo #76
Men’s Cursillo Weekend #76 was held on Oct. 2-5, 2025, at Sacred Heart Parish in Eldon.
Ten Cursillo team members were joined by six candidates who became the newest Cursillistas in the Diocese of Jefferson City.
The weekend of fellowship included daily Mass, singing, prayer, delicious meals, talks, discussions and meditations. And of course, time for fun and relaxation.
Many thanks go out to the staff and parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish who helped make the weekend a success in so many ways.
The spiritual advisor was Father Anthony Viviano. The assistant spiritual advisor was Deacon Keith Henke.
The weekend was truly guided by the Holy Spirit.
“All the participants, both candidates and team alike, entered the weekend with open hearts and minds to make the most of every moment of our time together. It was such a blessing to spend that time with these men so filled with the Holy Spirit!” said Marvin Twenter, rector for the weekend.
Gary Wilbers gave an inspired message at the Clausura, encouraging the new Fourth Dayers to embrace the importance of grouping in their efforts to “bring friends to Christ.”
