Some people make a difference through what they do.
Others make a difference through who they are.
For the past nine years, Jeremy Morris has done both as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri.
Drawing on his professional expertise as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Tax Manager at Williams-Keepers LLC, Jeremy has provided thoughtful financial guidance and trusted leadership that have helped strengthen our organization and advance our mission.
As his board service comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for the wisdom, generosity, and steadfast commitment he has shared with Catholic Charities over the years.
From the very beginning, Jeremy brought more than financial expertise to Catholic Charities. He brought a servant’s heart, a thoughtful approach to leadership, and a genuine commitment to our mission.
He has always cared deeply about ensuring that our organization remains a faithful steward of the resources entrusted to us so that we can continue serving individuals and families with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Jeremy has a remarkable ability to bring clarity to complex financial matters.
Whether presenting financial statements or explaining a difficult accounting issue, he has a gift for making information understandable without oversimplifying.
During Board meetings, his thoughtful explanations helped everyone see not only the numbers, but what those numbers meant for the future of Catholic Charities.
It is a talent that earned the respect of everyone around the table.
As Director of Finance, I have been fortunate to work closely with Jeremy over the past several years.
Working alongside him has been one of the highlights of my time at Catholic Charities.
While I have learned a great deal from his financial expertise, I have appreciated even more his kindness, encouragement, and willingness to support me.
Jeremy has always been generous with his time.
He listens carefully, asks thoughtful questions, and offers guidance in a way that makes you feel heard and respected.
Throughout my time here, I have always known I could count on his support, and that has meant more to me than I can fully express.
Jeremy has shown that leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room.
It is about listening first, encouraging others, sharing knowledge freely, and helping people become more confident in their own abilities.
That is the kind of leader he has been for me and for so many others.
What stands out most to me is Jeremy’s character.
He leads with humility, treats people with respect, and never seeks recognition for himself.
He has quietly given countless hours to Catholic Charities because he believes in our mission and in the people who carry it forward.
His kindness, patience, and steady presence have made a lasting difference to those who have had the privilege of serving alongside him.
Jeremy’s contributions cannot be measured only in financial reports or board minutes.
They are reflected in the confidence he inspired, the trust he built, and the steady guidance he provided over the past nine years.
His legacy will continue to be felt through the culture of stewardship, integrity, and collaboration he helped foster within our organization.
On behalf of our Board of Directors, employees, volunteers, donors, and the many individuals and families whose lives have been touched by Catholic Charities, I extend our deepest gratitude to Jeremy.
Thank you for your faithful service, your generous heart, your wisdom, and the countless hours you freely gave to strengthen this ministry.
Your leadership has made a meaningful difference, and we are sincerely grateful for all you have given to Catholic Charities.
Thank you for your nine years of faithful service, your steady leadership, your generous spirit, and the countless ways you have strengthened this ministry.
It has been a privilege to serve alongside you.
May God bless you and your family in the years ahead, just as you have been a blessing to Catholic Charities.
