Bishop Ralph B. O’Donnell offered the following Invocation during the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast in Jefferson City Jan. 14:
Good and Gracious God, we thank you for bringing us together for this meal: may we continue to live in your friendship and to walk in harmony with one another.
Bless the food we are about to receive, those who have prepared it and those who will serve it, for these are all signs of your loving care for us.
Bless us gathered here this morning, Lord, that we might be enriched by your spirit as we gather in prayer and be renewed to your service to the Glory and Honor of your Holy Name. Amen.
