PHOTOS: Public Rosary in the Square rally in Owensville

Members of Immaculate Conception parish in Owensville pray the Rosary together next to a busy intersection at noon on Oct. 12. This Public Rosary in the Square rally was one of thousands of Rosary gatherings that took place throughout the United States to mark the Oct. 13 anniversary of a large crowd of people witnessing the Miracle of the Sun during one of the Blessed Mother’s apparitions to three children in Fatima, Portugal. A national group known as America Needs Fatima provided the materials and recruited volunteers to organize the events in each community. Participants joined in praying the Rosary, singing hymns and offering other prayers and litanies. (29 photos)
