The Class of 2020 of Fr. Tolton Regional Catholic High School in Columbia gathered June 26 for their Baccalaureate Mass in the school commons.
Father Paul Clark, one of the school’s chaplains, presided at the Mass and preached the homily.
Father Christopher Cordes, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Columbia, concelebrated.
It was the first time the graduating seniors had gathered as a group since the suspension of in-school instruction in mid-March. Hundreds of parents, family members and friends watched the Mass via livestream, including Father Michael Coleman, chaplain of the school since its founding, who is recovering from surgery.
Afterward, two members of the class addressed their classmates, followed the presenting of several awards.
A socially-distanced commencement ceremony took place the following day at the school. (73 photos)
