Owensville parish mission, March 26-28

Passionist Father Bob Weiss will lead a parish mission from March 26-28, Monday through Wednesday of Holy Week, at Immaculate Conception parish in Owensville.

Fr. Weiss will give mission talks at 7 p.m. each evening in Immaculate Conception Church, 404 S. First St.

The public is invited to any or all of the talks.

Fr. Weiss also will offer Mass and preach the homily each day at 9 a.m. in the church.

His talks are very practical and full of Gospel joy. Entire families are encouraged to attend his talks.

Born in St. Louis and presentably stationed in Louisville, Kentucky, Fr. Weiss entered the Passionist congregation in 1957 and was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 1965.

For the past 37 years, he has been giving priest retreats and parish missions in over 38 states.

Fr. Weiss loves to concentrate on the fundamentals and truths of Catholic Christianity.
